Hello, I’m Mike. I have experience in most things IT but specialize in process optimization and Windows based automation. The majority of my expertise is with the following technologies but I'm always eager to learn. Outside of work I'm an avid rock climber and board game collector.
I have experience working in highly regulated environments. I work to create effective standards along with the automation required to keep those standards in place and the auditors happy.
Humans are bad at doing repeat or detailed tasks which is why I try and make computers do them wherever possible. I pride myself on my ability to identify weak points in processes and implement improvements/automation to make work faster and more consistent.
A properly designed AD schema is the key to any maintainable access model for a Windows shop. I have 8yrs of experience with Active Directory and have implemented a role based access control model for 1,500 users with great success.
I was on the Dean's List for my entire time at DeVry. My education had a focus on .Net app development and SQL database design.
